Hollád – Embrace of Forests and Fields

Hollád is a small village of 300 on the north-western edge of Somogy County.

The village is; situated in the foreground of the forested hills of Marcali-hát. The most conspicuous is the massive white old bell tower on a hill at the center of the village.

The region is free of environmental harm with a rich flora and fauna and a diverse landscape. In the surrounding forest hunting is a successful economical and free time activity. The hiking conditions are excellent.

The most famous attractions are the St Donato’s Chapel, pride of the village, and the old press house and wine cellar both of which can be found on the Bari-mountain.
